HOW WE MAKE THE PRODUCTS - RC Pilot Example
All of our work follows our 3D production pipeline: 3D Scanning > 3D Modeling > 3D Printing.

Read on below to see the steps in action as we make a pilot figure for a remote controlled airplane.

STEP ONE - TAKE 3D PHOTO AND MAKE 3D IMAGE

We capture your 3D image using our 3D Photo System. You are then transformed into a virtual model. The resulting 3D image is full color, high definition, and as life-like as it gets.

STEP TWO - CREATE THE PILOT

We use several 3D software programs to create your order. The process can be as simple as selecting from a pre-made template or it can get rather complex to create a truly unique item. As you can see in the photos below, we can replicate an item you provide or we can create from scratch. Just send us a picture of what you want and we will make it.

STEP THREE - 3D PRINTING THE PILOT

Using a 3D printer, we make the virtual design into a physical model that you can see and touch. Our 3D printer uses an additive manufacturing process. This process leverages a print engine that would normally print ink onto paper - like your inkjet at home. The difference is that our 3D printer uses this print engine to print glue onto powder and, by printing on successive layers of powder, will eventually form a 3D object. The models come out of the printer in full color - no painting required. To put it simply, this is a super cool way to make just about anything and is how we make products that feature YOU!

FINAL STEP - ADD YOU TO YOUR PLANE!

As you can see, the results are truly amazing.
